UNA SACRA CONVERSAZIONE
This project describes the emotions Filippo felt when he entered a church as a child. Sensual, motionless bodies emerged from the shadows. A population of statues looking at him and allowing to be looked at. They are still talking to him. His collection is focused on the body, simulated or real, veiled or hidden. Clothes become a second skin, a new body that protects the underlying one. Lightly veiled padding with silk organza outlines muscles and the chest. Floating drapes are frozen and fixed to the dress. Cuts and wounds turn into precious, aesthetic details.
