NINETY DAYS

Ninety Days is about the spaces in-between: real & digital, craft & technology, fashion & art. Kira’s starting point was an art project she created in Japan, producing a spontaneous artwork every day for 90 days during her stay. What emerged were the spaces in-between: manipulated photographs showing simultaneously present and detached elements, real life experiences being captured as warped digital memories. She then translated this atmosphere into two original materials: laser cut and moulded leather, and digitally printed, sliced PVC. These formed a collection of shoes and accessories that bridge practical & sculptural, traditional & technology, fashion & art.
